How to use:
For best results, use at least twice a week or as directed by a doctor.
- Wet hair thoroughly.
- Massage shampoo into your scalp.
- Lather, leaving on your hair and scalp for a few minutes.
- Rinse and repeat.

Scent, sheerness, thickness? WHO CARES?!My head isn’t on fire and my scalp isn’t bleeding this stuff is a freaking miracle!I’m not joking when I say that this product literally changed my life. Let’s start with the smell, sweet baby jebuz the smell makes me want to pass out, You can’t make it go away, it sits in her hair and your hands and wow not something nice. Now for the product. Holy ball I love it, it helps my daughter scalp like no tomorrow. She has psoriasis, and it helps so much. I thought there wasn’t anything that could help her and when I found T-gel. I was in tears; she has fewer flakes I know the smell is disgusting, but I’d rather her not be laughed at because of the flakes falling off of her hair. This is an amazing product and I love it, I use this every other day and the strong one once a week if I buy it.

Going to document my journey with this shampoo.Day 1 (First wash)SMELL: read so many reviews of how terrible the smell is, I may have anticipated for the worst so upon using this shampoo my expectations for the smell was so low, when I actually smelled it… it wasn’t UNBEARABLE.EFFECTIVENESS: Woke up with tiny dandruff flakes. Disappointing as it is advertised saying it has instant resultDay 2-2 WeeksIt has been a while after using this every week. 2-3 times.The persistent itchiness has lessened by a lot.There are still VERY little dandruff (balls?) but no flakes!Usually the itchiness comes when my hair is getting oily which means it is time for another wash, before these days my scalp feels fine and clean!May 2021 Update:I have 1/8th of the bottle left and I’ve been using this 2-3 times a week. I have not experienced the extreme itchiness of my scalp ever since the first time I’ve introduced this product to my hair routine.I’ve changed this to a 5 star review as this product actually works after a week of using it. I know some people cannot stand the smell but the ingredient coal-tar is what makes this product work and I don’t mind it as much anymore. (You can just use another shampoo right after to freshen up the smell)

You get used to the smell when your head no longer itches and there are no more huge scaly flakes sloughing off your head…its not even that bad. Once your hair dries it doesn’t smell at all anymore, especially if you use conditioner. As far as how well it works? It’s a lifesaver! Seriously nothing else works for me. Other dandruff shampoos only make it worse. I’ve had dandruff since I was in elementary school – it’s probably some kind of condition, my dad and sisters also have had it as long as I can remember. I used this for years, growing up in the US. Couldn’t find it after moving to Canada until I found it on Amazon. I ordered it, and after the first wash my scalp was noticeably improving. With twice-weekly washing with this product, my dandruff is almost entirely gone – and so is my husband’s, even though he only washes his hair weekly. We both have much softer, shinier hair, too.And the bonus? It doesn’t strip my hair colour. I keep my hair dyed purple (a mix of Punky Colours violet and Punky Colours purple, to make a shade in between the two) and it hasn’t faded at all…even shampoos made “for colour treated hair” would have normally stripped the colour by now!

This is a real review. I was unsure if this will work or not on me but I took the chance and gave it a try. I have tried many, many, many other products even prescribed from my Dermatologist and it did not work. I have red itchy spots on the right side of my scalp. It would be so itchy that when I scratch lightly it would bleed and lots of flakes showing on my clothing. Reviews had said the smell is bad, it is not so bad, you don’t smell it after you rinse it out. After using the shampoo 3 times no more red spots, no more itchy and no more flakes! Plus I noticed my hair is less oily and fuller too. Hair was limp due to the oil produced next day after wash. I have short hair so a nickel size drop is enough and I also do not require to wash hair as often too. I now wash my hair twice a week. In the past it was 3 times a week or even more or every day to stop the itchiness…it was a viscous cycle. I hope my review will help those to decide whether to try this product or not. Give it a try – if it works – great!

You dont need a lot of shampoo for it to work. The smell isnt amazing but this isnt normal shampoo. I use it on my scalp only and let it sit while I continue my routine. I bought to help get rid of the white flakey build up I had. My scalp has cleared up and is less itchy. My mom used to use this and now I remember why, it works! Use once a week because it dries my hair sooo bad!! Finished ends of my hair with an oil to help with dry frizz. Also head and shoulders never worked for me.

I have terrible scalp psoriasis and for years nothing has worked. This shampoo literally clears my psoriasis as soon as my hair is washed and dried. Although psoriasis is chronic, my scalp stays clear and flake-free for up to 1 week. The smell is to be expected from the tar products, but not extremely overhwelming. Very satisfied with this product.

Ill start with the con first since its short.. the smell is awful, it smells like the shoe section of a walmart, like cheap “leather”.. you need a good scented conditioner after you use this or your hair will stink like chemicals and cheap leather. Now the good, it does what its supposed to.. right after the first use my head wasn’t itchy anymore.. ive used plenty of dandruff shampoos and they never really worked, i still had dandruff and my head was still itchy. I bought this because of the reviews and i will be purchasing it over and over again. You dont have to use it every day, you can use it twice a week or 3 times a week and use your regular shampoo on other days, its what i do.. but whenever i do use this i make sure to let my conditioner sit in my hair for a bit before washing it off because of the awful scent. I also use some hair products after the shower.

I am sooo shocked that I finally found a shampoo that works for my dandruff!!Unfortunately since having my last baby 5 years ago, I have suffered from severe dandruff. It actually got so bad that not only was it embarrassing but it was starting to affect my forehead skin too :(I tried LOTS of different products from Head and Shoulders to professional and expensive products… this was my last try at something before going to my doctor because it was getting a lot worse these last few months.I researched a lot and read lots of reviews.I was very skeptical that this would work and worried about the smell that everyone complained about – but like I said, this was my last try before going to the doctor for help.I AM SOOOO GLAD that I tried it because it worked.After the first wash I immediately saw results and now after 4 washes I have NO DANDRUFFRegarding the smell… it’s not fruity or floral haha…BUT it is NOT as bad as some people have made it out to be. It almost smells like a strong tea tree oil mixed with a chemical….BUT super easy solution if it bothers you… get a great smelling conditioner or hair scent spray. I bought those in anticipation of the smell others were complaining about in their reviews. Although I don’t think the smell is that bad – a great coconut conditioner masks the smell completely.BEST OF ALL… SERIOUSLY, I HAVE NO DANDRUFF…this is HUGE!!

Thank heavens for this product! I was doing crazy feeling itchy on my scalp and having my hair turn so dull I was worried I might lose it. Yes, it will make you miss the peach and blossoms smell of your old shampoo when you will smell like a freshly paved street, but you won’t mind because you’ll feel at TON better. Because this product WORKS.It holds its promise to make you feel better after the very first use. I even put some on a lufa to wash my whole body with it and left it on my skin for a few minutes (I have eczema on my arms and legs too, not just my scalp) and the next day, I was already much less itchy. I’m a fan and will buy it again. <3 It's now a staple for me.
